About Remembrance Farms

Horses have always been a passion for Sarah. Her dream is to build a top breeding/ training/boarding operation. In pursuit of that dream she completed a Bachelor degree in Equine Management to assure she has the knowledge and experience to do so. Along the way she has encountered many professionals who have been supportive of her dreams and assisted in so many ways and they will always be in our hearts for their generosity. This is a true family operation beginning with our beloved grandfather, uncles, and friends who we have lost but not forgotten. It is in remembrance of these wonderful people that the farm gets its name. At Remembrance Farms we remember that no one succeeds alone. Whether through financial assistance, brushing horses, or doing chores, parents, grandmothers, sisters, and aunts play a vital role in the farms success.

Our goal is to breed and raise exceptional Paints and Quarter horses. We want individuals with sound minds and bodies, that are free of known, serious genetic defects. Every one of our breeding stock has been genetic tested and their status is listed on the website. The vast majority are five and six panel (Paint) negative. A few outstanding individuals with recessive traits that do not affect the horse are carefully selected for stallions which are negative. Those with dominant genetic traits are only used as recipient mares so as to not add the trait to the gene pool.

Not everyone wants the same thing from their horses and we have carefully selected different lines to accommodate those needs. Our stallion will produce all-rounders capable of very nearly any activity you wish. The mares come from the best lines available for their specialty. We have halter mares from Kid Clu, riders from All Time Fancy and Zips Chocolate Chip, and reiners from Hollywood Dun It and A Tru Rolex, the all time leading APHA point earner in the country.

Our babies are imprinted and handled daily. Most of our mares have proven show careers. We stand behind our horses and will make every attempt to find you what you are looking for.

Our boarding operation is limited to six stalled horses to assure they are well cared for and that there are plenty of facilities to accommodate you. Sarah is an experienced farrier and you will never again have to pay for a travel fee! We consider our customers friends and place a high value on customer service.

We would love to speak with you about breeding, foals, or boarding.

With Love,
Remembrance Farms
